A Nightmare on Elm Street - Where It Was Made

Good evening horror fans. An interesting piece came up from my You Tube subscriptions today courtesy of JoBlo Movie Network. It's a behind the scenes piece about one of my favourite movies, Wes Craven's original Nightmare on Elm Street. It is from a series of vignettes called "Where It Was Made", specifically focusing on the locations where the movie was filmed, including visiting them in the present day.

This particular episode is around 12 minutes long and features contributions from Heather Langenkamp (Nancy) and Robert England (Freddy Krueger). It's definitely worth a look, especially if you love the film as much as I do:

Hey gang, a few days ago a new poster for the impending remake of Nightmare on Elm Street hit the web, not much of excitement or especially notable but I'm a sucker for all this promotional campaign stuff so thought I'd post it here for you all to see.



At the same times as the image was released old reliable AICN again posted an early review of the movie. Sad to say I have read it and it is spoiler filled so avoid like the plague if you don't want to know too much about plot changes and scripting (I'm aware it's a remake) or if you can't fight the curiosity like me then let temptation guide you here, but be warned!!! I kind of wish I had waited for spoiler free reviews.

3,4, better lock your door...

Hi again gang. I'm getting pretty hyped about the Nightmare on Elm Street reimagining heading our way next year, enjoying the pre-release excitement before the often inevitable disappointment. To that end forgive the fact that this is barely news but the first clear picture of Jackie Earle Haley's new interpretation of Freddy Kreuger was released today. Unfortunately it's only the action figure but it does show you clearer than we've yet seen how they're going with this and, yes, it's remarkably similar to what we've already seen. Good or bad thing? I don't know, looks good to me. The image originated at figures.com but is gradually being removed from the net by a sweeping and presumably panicked marketing department. Doesn't stop this fearless reporter though. Thanks to AICN for the heads up on this. See what you think below, oh and clicking on the image should give you a larger and clearer picture:
